Parental Involvement

Sts Peter and Paul's School is a collaboration between teaching staff and parents with our core focus being on the interests of our students. The success of this partnership depends on its strength and for this reason parental involvement is actively encouraged. Parents are encouraged to spend time with their children talking about the importance of school and the value of learning.  Through working together, students are very well positioned for future progress.  To ensure a positive learning environment, all classrooms strive to be calm places where each child can focus and feel safe.

Class Coordinators

At Sts Peter and Paul's School parents are a valued participant in the education of our children. Each class has a co-ordinator or small group of volunteers who help the class teacher whenever needed and they help coordinate a parent network for that class. As well as classroom events, the class coordinator organises social events to help build an inclusive supportive community. Traditionally some classes have had special tasks e.g. Year 5 to provide and serve the supper for the Year 6 graduation evening.

Parents and Friends

Participation in the P&F is strongly encouraged. P&F meetings are held monthly in the Good Samaritan Hall. All parents are welcome to attend. The P&F is a wonderful support body to the staff and children. There are many ways for you to become involved; volunteering for an executive position or one of the many sub groups.
